Prisoners will be allowed home at weekends

A Lincolnshire jail is pioneering a new part-time prison system.
Women sentenced to 'intermittent custody' will be sent for either weekends or week days at Morton Hall female prison near Swinderby.
There will be 40 places in a new purpose built building.
The Governor, Lynn Saunders, explained the new 'part-time' sentence will soften the blow of being sent to jail.
She said: "The impact of being sent to jail can sometimes have a devastating effect on people's lives.
"They can lose their accommodation, their jobs, sometimes their children go into care and obviously Morton Hall being a women's prison that is particularly pertinent to us.
