Dog 'could have burned to death'
The RSPCA is investigating the death of a dog whose body was found badly burnt in Leicester.

The body was found in Ash Street near an industrial unit in an alley. Vets said they could not tell if the animal had been burnt alive.

RSPCA inspectors believe the black female Patterdale terrier was burnt on a fire and moved later.

They said the death is very suspicious as it unusual to burn a dog and conceal the body if it dies naturally.

The dog's body was found on Friday. Anyone who knows anything about it is asked to contact the RSPCA.
