Police patrol school after fight
Police officers have been patrolling outside a Leicester school on Wednesday following a fight in which four pupils were injured.

The disturbance at Riverside Community College is thought to have involved pupils and local youths.

The pupils have lodged complaints of assault, and detectives are looking into the disturbance on Tuesday.

Headteacher Bernadette Green said: "We have had fantastic support from the police, they have been around all day."

She said the students had been going to lessons and continuing with their studies.

The headteacher added: "We had as many staff as we possibly could out on the street, on Narborough Road, to make sure our students got home safety and there have been no problems whatsoever."
