Parking fees are planned for two more hospitals

Hundreds of staff are to planning to walk out in protest at plans to introduce parking charges at two hospitals in Leicester.
The protestors say they will time their action at lunch times later this month so patients are not severely affected.
Parking fees are planned for Leicester General and Glenfield Hospital.
A fee-charging system is already in place at Leicester Royal Infirmary where parking fees are as much as £20 a month.
Other projects
The Leicestershire University Hospitals NHS Trust - which runs both hospitals - says the decision to charge parking fees has been considered carefully.
The trust says it costs around £1m to maintain the car parks at its three main hospitals.
It wants to spend the money raised from car parking fees on other hospital projects.
