Designer fakes seized in raid
Police and trading standards officers have seized £500,000 worth of counterfeit goods during a raid in Leicester.

The joint operation centred on a cash and carry warehouse on Western Road after receiving information about the sale of fake designer goods.

They found large quantities of perfumes, aftershaves, leather jackets and clothing.

Two people are being questioned following the seizure.

Trading Standards Officers described the operation as a huge success.

However, they are urging people to remain on the look-out for other counterfeit goods at car boot sales and markets in the run-up to Christmas.
