Police are warning people to ask for proof of identity

A man claiming to be a police officer has conned an elderly woman from Hinckley out of her savings.
Leicestershire police are encouraging people to demand identification from visitors claiming to be from official organisations.
The man called at the woman's house in the Hollycroft area between 0930 and 1000 BST on the morning of 12 July.
He tricked his way into the home of the pensioner, who is in her 80s, claiming he would show her a safe place to hide her money, but stole the woman's savings.
Challenge callers
It is believed he drove off in a white saloon car.
He is described as white, aged 35-40 and about 5 ft 9 ins tall.
He was clean shaven with receding mousy hair and wore jeans, a blue t-shirt and white trainers.
Police are advising people not to store large sums of money at home to always challenge callers for identification.
