A primary school in Kent which has taps that turn themselves off has been awarded a green flag and Eco-School status by the county council.
Shorne Primary School, in Gravesend, has a group of Year 1 to Year 6 pupils who meet regularly to discuss environmental issues.
Council chairman John London is being shown their achievements during a tour on Monday.
The school is being recognised for running an eight-year recycling drive.

Energy-saving measures - under the motto "If in doubt, turn it out" - encourage pupils to always switch off lights and power sources.
The automatic turn-off taps are a feature of the school's cloakrooms.
Future plans include more recycling and composting initiatives, as well as the creation of outdoor areas dedicated to wildlife and trees.
