Seafront apartments plan on show
The Rotunda amusement park, Folkestone
The proposed development is on the site of the Rotunda park
The latest plans for development on Folkestone seafront are going on show to the public on Friday.

Proposals for the site of the former Rotunda amusement park include 740 apartments, a hotel, restaurant, multiplex cinema and bowling alley.

The original scheme for the 90-acre site included an Asda superstore but that has now been incorporated into the Bridge Hall town centre development.

The Civic Centre exhibition will feature model and computer impressions.

The developer, Trent, says it has completed environmental impact assessments required by Shepway District Council.

The planning application will be considered in the next few months.

The exhibition at the centre in Castle Hill Avenue is also open on Saturday.
