A sixth team of wardens is being introduced in Hull
A community warden scheme in Hull has proved so successful, the team is being extended with a further seven wardens patrolling city streets.

The team, based at a one-stop shop in Anlaby Road, will be on hand to support residents and patrol the area.

The Community Warden Service is operated by the Goodwin Development Trust which already has five other teams in the city.

Wardens can advise on issues including security and anti-social behaviour.

John Marshall, head of Goodwin's community services, said: "This is the sixth warden team to be launched in Hull and is part of our programme to introduce community warden services across the city.

"The service has proved to be a great success and has helped improve the quality of life for people in every area of the city in which it operates."
