People living in rural areas in Shropshire are being asked to help prevent illegal raves this summer.
West Mercia Police have approached neighbourhood watch co-ordinators to report any suspicious activity.
The National Farmers Union is also urging farmers to be vigilant.
Large numbers of police were deployed last April when 3,000 revellers converged on farmland near Leominster and stayed for four days.
The event prompted complaints about noise, damage to property and crops being trampled.
The force said it is not prepared to let it happen again and want people living in the countryside to report any information about landowners being asked to rent out sites for short periods.
They are also asking residents to keep an eye out for generating equipment being moved onto land.
