The Arctic Angels will begin their race in April

Three women looking to become the first all-female team to race to
the North Pole have appealed for a sponsor to save their
mission.
The team, dubbed the Arctic Angels, want to raise money for the RNLI in the Polar Challenge race.
But they fear they will be unable to go unless they raise
£25,000 within the next few weeks.
Clare Kavanagh, 30; Philippa Thomson, 31, from Poole, Dorset, and Jocie Robertson, 30, from Bristol have been training for months.
The trio intend to drag three sleds unaided across Canada's North-west
Territories to the Magnetic North Pole as they compete against 10 other
teams from roudn the world.
Ms Kavanagh said: "The trek covers a gruelling 290 miles on foot over ice and
snow but at the moment it looks like the hardest step will be getting out of
Poole.
