A project to give schoolchildren a taste of Gypsy and traveller culture has been unveiled in Hampshire.
Learning packs and DVDs are being sent to schools across the county - with the aim of giving children a greater understanding of Gypsy lifestyles.
The county council Living Album Scheme will also invite Gypsies and travellers to museums and archives to gather information about their heritage.
It has been awarded a £50,000 grant by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
Items found in the archives will form a museum exhibition that will then tour the county.
"These resources will be used as part of an educational programme of activities in schools, particularly those which are attended by Gypsy children - helping pupils to develop a greater understanding of Gypsy and traveller lifestyles," a Hampshire County Council spokeswoman said.
