Four homes in Gloucestershire have been raided in an investigation into people-smuggling.
Dozens of police searched houses in Cheltenham on Tuesday as part of Operation Pentameter, a nationwide crackdown on human trafficking.
Five people were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in, or assisting in, the running of a brothel.
The properties are suspected of having been used to house the victims of people-smuggling.
Operation Pentameter is a multi-agency initiative involving the police, the travel industry, government and partner groups across the UK and Europe.
