Road tax dodgers forced to pay up
A campaign to catch road tax dodgers in Devon and Cornwall has been hailed a success by licensing officials.

Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) warnings made 2,127 people relicense their vehicles, bringing in £250,000 which would have been lost.

A hotline set up to allow people to report anyone without a tax disc got 530 calls.

In Cornwall, DVLA cameras photographed 569 untaxed vehicles, 62 vehicles were wheelclamped and 37 were crushed.
