Appledore lifeboat crew assisted

Two people have been winched to safety by an RAF rescue helicopter after their fishing boat ran aground and began to list off the north Devon coast.
Swansea coastguards received a mayday call at 0229 BST on Monday after the boat got into difficulty in Croyde Bay near Barnstaple.
The Appledore lifeboat was launched together with a helicopter from RAF Chivenor.
The crew of two, who were uninjured, were airlifted onto the beach.
The fishing boat was towed into Appledore by the lifeboat.
Helen Hutson from Swansea Coastguards, said: "The men are very lucky.
