New appeals are being made to try to halt the spread of a debilitating bug affecting some of Devon's hospitals.
The Norwalk virus causes diarrhoea and vomiting and first struck at Christmas.
Hospital staff had thought they were beating the highly infectious bug but it is causing problems once again.
Four wards have been closed to new admissions at the Derriford Hospital in Plymouth and the same number at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.
In an effort to halt the spread, officials at both hospitals are urging families and friends of patients to stay away unless their visit is absolutely necessary.
