'Crack house' in city boarded up
A suspected crack house in Derby has been boarded up by police officers using new powers.

Three people have been charged with drugs offences after the flat in Peartree was shut up on Wednesday.

Police notices were put up on the building saying the actions were taken due to suspicion that Class A drugs were used, produced or sold there.

Detective Inspector Gary Cathcart said police efforts were reliant on information from local people.

The property will remain boarded up for three months.
