War veterans say they will hold a day of action if plans for a new cinema and arts centre in Derby go ahead.
Developers want the Quad Centre to be built on the Colonel Sir Peter Hilton Memorial Garden in Corporation Street.
Roy McGahey from the Derby and Burton branch of the Korean Veterans Association said if this happens, ex-soldiers will hold street protests.
Derby City Council will vote on Tuesday night on whether to press ahead with the plans.
Mr McGahey said: "If the St Peter Hilton gardens go, and our memorial is moved, then what future is there for the rest of the war memorials in Derby?
"Will the cenotaph be the next to be bulldozed?
