A pay dispute between Lincolnshire's ambulance workers and their employers has come to an end.
An increase of 3.2% has been agreed, which means paramedics will earn about £22,000 a year.
Health transport workers will receive a 4.5% increase, bringing their salary up to just over £11,000.
Local paramedic John Webb said it was time the ambulance service in Lincolnshire caught up with the rest of the country.
He said: "Hopefully with the improvements that are being made, we'll be able to keep up with the pace of the NHS, because we have been behind for several years."
