Ecclesbourne Valley Railway hopes to run regular services

A passenger train has run along an historic railway after more than a decade of campaigning to reopen the line.
A daily service will run on the line between Wirksworth and Duffield in Derbyshire.
Wyvern Rail, which owns the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway has also been awarded more than £90,000 to extend the eight-mile track.
It will then link up with the National Stone Centre in Wirksworth.
An air-conditioned former Gatwick Express train, the most modern on a private line, will journey along a one-kilometre stretch from one end of Wirksworth to the other on Tuesday.
