The re-seeding will help protect moorland in the Peak District

A re-seeding project is under way to reverse 100 years of damage to Derbyshire's moorland caused by fire and acid rain.
The scheme will concentrate on the Peak District's Bleaklow Moor and will cost £5m over a period of five years.
A helicopter will carry several hundred tonnes of heather seeds and fertiliser to be spread over 160 hectares of moorland.
Project manager Christopher Dean said: "We are spreading heather and grass seed mixed with fertiliser to restore badly burnt areas.
"The fires have stripped the vegetation off the moor and the peat is eroded and is blowing away in summer."
The scheme aims to ensure vegetation is restored quickly to protect the endangered peat bog in the area.
