Information on the switchover from analogue television is to be given out at a meeting in a West Cumbrian town leading the digital revolution.
Whitehaven's residents will be the first in the UK to be affected.
Anyone without a digital television or set-top box will not be able to receive television channels from autumn 2007.
Officials from Digital UK, the organisation overseeing the switchover, will answer questions at a meeting in the town's Civic Centre on Thursday.
