A pensioner from Cumbria has been fined for making a V-sign at a speed camera.
Geoff Benson, 71, from Selside, was fined for what he said was a "gesture of defiance" since he was travelling below the speed limit.
He had been fined for speeding just three weeks earlier on the A6 in Kendal.
Magistrates in Kendal fined Mr Benson £100 on Friday for not being in proper control of his vehicle.
The incident happened as he spotted one of Cumbria's four mobile camera vans.
Mr Benson momentarily took both hands off the wheel in what he told magistrates was a gesture of defiance, because he was only doing 20mph.
Cumbria Police said in the past, pictures had been used to prosecute drivers for several other offences, including drink-driving and using a mobile phone.
