Repeat offenders will be tackled in a new drive by police to cut crime across the West Midlands in April.
Operation Strikeout will focus on burglaries, robberies, vehicle and violent crime.
West Midlands Police say persistent offenders are responsible for as much as 50% of the region's crime.
Stop and search and high profile patrols will be some of the methods used to reduce crime in April by 5% compared to the same period last year.
The campaign will include five "ad vans" parked across the West Midlands and five mobile vans will patrol crime hotspots.
Other adverts will be featured on council poster sites, on electronic street signs and in newspapers.
