Police have been given powers to disperse young people who congregate in a park in Nuneaton.
Under the Anti-Social Behaviour Act 2003, the police can also take home anyone under 16 seen in Galley Common between 2100 GMT and 0600 GMT.
Police say over the past two years they have had regular reports of anti-social and nuisance behaviour from groups of young people gathering in the park.
They now have powers to move the groups on or arrest them if needed.
It follows complaints from residents and reports of teenagers drinking alcohol and causing criminal damage.
Police have now been given powers under section 30 of the Anti Social Behaviour Act to turn the area into a dispersal zone.
This means anyone gathering in groups of two or more will be asked to move on, or face arrest.
