Rise in riding scooters illegally
West Midlands Police say they are dealing with an increasing number of people driving motorised scooters on public roads in the area.

Driving them on pavements, roads and in public parks is illegal because they do not meet EC legislation.

Motorised scooters can only be used on private property.

Businesses are being warned not to mislead people who are doing their Christmas shopping into thinking that they can ride them anywhere.
