Fatigue prompts service area plan
A new service station for the M6 is necessary because of an above-average number of accidents in the area caused by driver fatigue, it is claimed.

Planning officers are recommending Rugby councillors refuse permission for the development, at junction one.

Provision would be made for 380 cars, 10 caravans, 18 coaches and 60 heavy goods lorries, the application says.

Two parish councils - Churchover and Cosford - have also lodged objections, saying the facility is not needed.
