Village enjoys lights spectacle
Thousands of people were in Mousehole on Saturday night for the annual switch-on of the harbour Christmas lights.

October floods caused about £5,000 of damage to the Christmas lights and jeopardised the show.

But thanks to hard work from volunteers who look after the show's lights there will be displays in the harbour and on surrounding hillsides.

The spectacular lights raise hundreds of pounds for charity.

From small beginnings some years ago when a local artist hung a solitary string of lanterns, the event now attracts visitors from around the world.
