Sally may get posthumous degree
The murdered Cambridge student, Sally Geeson, could be awarded a posthumous first class degree by Anglia Polytechnic University.

The 22-year-old, who was killed on New Year's Day by Lance Corporal David Atkinson, was a final year forensic science student.

Miss Geeson's naked body was found in a cemetery on 7 January three miles from where she was last seen.

Atkinson killed himself when he jumped from the top floor of a Glasgow hotel.

University press officer Mark Cole said: "it is very likely that Sally will be awarded a posthumous degree."
