Missing student's family appeal
Sally Geeson
Ms Geeson was last seen on New Year's Eve in Cambridge
The family of a missing student from Cambridge are making a fresh appeal for her safe return.

Sally Geeson disappeared after leaving a New Year's Eve party in the city.

Two text messages were sent to friends shortly after midnight asking for help but since then there has been no sign of her.

Miss Geeson's mother, Sue, 46 an education consultant, and father Laurence, 51, a company director, will make their second appeal on Thursday.

They will be joined her identical twin sister Julie.

"It's not like Sally to disappear like this," said Mrs Geeson, who lives in Southend.

"We just need to hear from anyone who has any information about her and would beg her to get in touch if she can."

Miss Geeson is described as 5ft 2ins, of fair complexion and with distinctive curly ginger hair.

When last seen she was wearing glasses, a short brown dress, brown high heels and carrying a denim bag.
