Severn Bridge toll rise confirmed
Tolls on the Severn Bridge
Tolls are to be increased from 1 January 2005
Toll prices for vehicles crossing the Severn Bridge and the Second Severn Crossing are set to rise next year.

New figures have just been released and show that cars and motor caravan tolls will see a 20p rise to £4.80.

Heavy goods vehicles and buses are up 40p to £14.30. The changes will take effect from New Years Day.

The tolls are set at the start of each year according to the Severn Bridges Act of 1992, in accordance with the Retail Price Index.
