End of the line for city's tram
Tram
The tram would have linked Parkway Station with the city centre
Plans for a city's supertram scheme are expected to be officially shelved by councillors on Tuesday.

The £200m light rail project was meant to provide an answer to Bristol congestion problems.

But after growing fears about government funding and the cost of the scheme escalating, the council decided to divert funds elsewhere.

It is believed other ways of improving transport in the city are now to be considered.

The tram would have linked Parkway Station in the north with the city centre.
