Warning as dog owner is fined
The prosecution of a dog owner who failed to clear up her pet's mess, is being held up as a warning to others.

South Gloucestershire Council said the woman was caught by an off-duty dog warden in Page Park, Mangotsfield.

She was taken to court, where she admitted the offence and fined £100 and ordered to pay £450 costs.

Celine Jacobs, dog warden for South Gloucs Council, said: "We are extremely pleased with the verdict, and this should act as a warning."
