A rundown cemetery in Bristol which was a finalist in the BBC's Restoration project has been targeted by thieves.
Historic and ornamental treasures have been stolen, say the group The Friends of Arnos Vale.
Other items such as pots have gone missing or been broken by intruders.
The group's chair, Richard Smith, appealed for local people to report any suspicious activity.
Mr Smith said items which could be sold had been taken in the past but recently there had been a marked increase in the number of thefts.
It is thought the items are being stolen for sale.
The cemetery was at the centre of a two-year legal wrangle after the previous owners announced plans to sell the site for development.
The council stepped in, under pressure from local residents, and took over ownership.
