Nearly 200 schools across West Yorkshire remain closed despite the worst of the wintery weather easing.

Snowfall has affected mainly higher ground with some coaches having to be abandoned at Pool Bank on their way to Leeds Bradford Airport.

Calderdale Transport has cancelled transport to all special schools in Bradford except Ravenscliffe School.

The weather has led to road closures, including the A635 at Holmfirth and the A6024 Holme Moss Road.
