Train operator plans £25m upgrade
Upgraded standard class carriage
The carriages will include improved access for people with disabilities
The region's train operator One plans to invest £25m in upgrading the rolling stock on its Norwich to London line.

The company's improvements include replacing older carriages with 110 modern coaches and better access for people with disabilities.

A One spokesperson said the carriages would provide passengers with a "smoother, more comfortable ride".

The first fully upgraded set of carriages is expected to enter service later this summer.

The Norwich to London mainline operates between Ipswich and Colchester.
