Voluntary groups in the East of England are set to benefit from £300,000 to help improve workers' skills.
The Community and Voluntary Forum (COVER) has been allocated the funding to help other voluntary groups access more funding.
A COVER spokesman said the project will focus on improving leadership, management and entrepreneurial skills.
The funds from the East of England Development Agency (EEDA) will be allocated over several years.
An EEDA spokesman said the funds will help voluntary groups respond to the decreased availability of grant funding and an increased emphasis on providing public services.
