The carriageway will be reduced to one lane at night

Motorists using the M6 in Staffordshire at night are being warned they face
delays over the next three months while major maintenance work is carried out.
The work on the southbound carriageway at Yarnfield, between junctions 15 and 14, is due to begin after rush hour on Friday.
It is expected to last up to 13 weeks.
The Highways Agency (HA) says the motorway will be fully open in both directions during the day but the southbound carriageway will be reduced to a single lane at night.
Upgrade drainage
A contraflow will be put in place during the roadworks and a 50mph speed limit
will be imposed in both directions.
The HA says the roadworks are needed to replace the worn out road surface as well as to upgrade drainage and safety fencing.
During the night time work, vehicles travelling south that are more than 12ft
wide will be diverted off the motorway at junction 15 and will follow a diversion to
junction 14.
