Violence in the home is on the increase in Sussex

A charity which helps the victims of domestic abuse is to expand its work in Sussex in the face of growing numbers of cases.
Refuge announced on Thursday that it will open two new centres in Lewes and Wealden.
The charity aims to offer a place of safety and a help point for the victims of violence at home.
It opened another centre in Eastbourne last month.
The number of recorded incidents of domestic violence in Sussex rose nearly 15% in the last year, according to official figures.
East Sussex County Council has also pledged to provide a refuge for women and children in every district in the county by April.
It is working in partnership with Sussex Police to tackle the problem of domestic abuse.
