Green goddesses from Bristol and Yate attended
Military fire crews were called in to rescue people trapped in a four car pile-up near Bristol on Saturday night.

Green Goddesses from Yate and Horfield were called to the crash on the southbound carriageway of the M5 at about 1805 GMT on Saturday.

It is thought the crash happened when three cars collided with a red Volkswagen Golf between junctions 14 and 15 of the motorway.

Five people with chest and neck injuries were taken to hospital following the crash - one by air ambulance.

Marines and naval firefighters cut three people out of the Golf, one of whom was suffering serious chest injuries.

Five people were released from two of the other cars.
