Mental health patient found
Martin Elmer
Police have found Martin Elmer
A man who went missing from a secure unit for the mentally ill in Norwich has been found and returned.

Martin Elmer, 32, went missing from the Norvic Clinic last Thursday.

He had been ordered to stay at the clinic after he attacked a former girlfriend and assaulted a police officer in 1998.

On Wednesday, Norfolk Police said he had been found.

Dr Hadrian Ball, medical director of the Norfolk Mental Health Care Trust, which runs the Norvic Clinic, had said: "The man needs medical supervision and we are concerned about his well-being."
