Queen cancels engagements
The Queen leaves hospital
The Queen is recuperating at Sandringham
The Queen has called off two more engagements to allow her to recover from recent surgery to her knee.

Buckingham Palace said she would not be attending church on Sunday at Hillington, near Sandringham in Norfolk.

She has also postponed a visit to the Royal Russell School in Croydon, London, due for 12 February.

A spokeswoman said: "Her Majesty is continuing to undertake as many engagements as she can, but where she was required to stand for lengthy periods or walk, she is withdrawing."

She added the Queen was "making good progress" since the operation on Tuesday.

On Thursday, the Palace announced the 76-year-old monarch had cancelled plans to visit Chelmsford to mark the 50th anniversary of the floods in eastern England.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex are to attend in her stead.

Her first official engagement this year, the presentation of Jubilee Gates at Sandringham House, is scheduled to go ahead as planned on 29 January.
