Trekking to end of the earth
Andrew Cooney, a 23-year-old Scout leader from Nottinghamshire, has become the youngest person to walk to the South Pole.

Andrew Cooney spent months training for the gruelling task of trekking 730-miles across Antartica
There were six people in Mr Cooney's expedition including famous US woman explorer Matty McNair
A hot meal and a bath were two of the things Mr Cooney was looking forward to following his 53 days in the snow
A shoulder injury early in the trek meant Mr Cooney suffered while dragging his 200 pound sled every day
Andrew Cooney, 23, beat the record of 27-year-old Londoner Tom Avery, which lasted just five days
Back home in Nottinghamshire, Andrew Cooney's family celebrate after he calls home after reaching the pole
