Police car
Police say two men were seen running away
Kent police have launched a murder inquiry after a stabbing outside a pub in Rochester.

The emergency services were called shortly after 1915 GMT to an incident outside the Vineyard pub in Rochester Maidstone Road.

A man said to be in his late teens or early 20s was taken to the Medway Maritime Hospital but pronounced dead soon afterwards.

Part of the Rochester Maidstone Road has been cordoned off while experts examine the scene.

Police said two men were seen running away from the area.

No arrests have been made.
