easyJet launches new Liverpool flights

easyJet already has a strong presence in Liverpool
Budget airline easyJet has announced a string of new flights from Liverpool.

The news is being seen as a boost for the city's John Lennon Airport, which already has a strong easyJet presence.

The firm is introducing a new flight to Alicante for people travelling to Spain's Costa Brava.

It is also increasing its service to the Costa del Sol by introducing a third daily flight to Malaga.

From spring 2003, passengers travelling to both Majorca and Nice will have a choice of two flights rather than one a day.

The company has also announced it will continue offering a third daily flight to Paris which it introduced in autumn 2001.
