The Afro-Caribbean Club in Spital Hill
The shooting happened in Spital Hill
Two men have been arrested in connection with the death of a man in a drive-by shooting in Sheffield.

Gerald Anthony Smith was leaving the Afro-Caribbean club on Spital Hill when he was attacked at 2330 GMT on Wednesday.

Shots were fired from a car travelling in the direction of Burngreave Road - the car then sped off towards the Wicker area of the city.

The 42-year-old, who lived in Sheffield but was born in Jamaica, was taken to Northern General Hospital but died during the night.

He leaves a wife, Lorna, and four young children.

Two men in their early 20s are being questioned by police.
