Five arrested in drug raids
Heroin
Police have been tipped off about drug dealing
Five people have been arrested by police in Lancashire during early morning drugs raids.

More than 40 officers took part in the raids as part of Operation Nimrod on Tuesday morning.

They were acting on information provided by the local community.

Those people arrested will be questioned about suspected drugs-related offences.

Homes across Lancashire have been raided in the on-going operation.

Community police officers also distributed leaflets to residents, encouraging them to pass on any information about drug dealing.

Drugs, including heroin, have also been recovered by officers.
