Drug charges after £1m haul
Police car
Police believe the drugs were destined for Nottingham
A man is to face drug charges after a seizure of heroin worth approximately £1m.

Nottinghamshire Police made an arrest after 10 kilogrammes of the class A drug were found.

The police described the find as a major seizure, which may well have been destined for the streets of Nottingham.

Richard Kenny, from the Halifax area, was arrested at Nottingham railway station on Thursday.

He was appearing before magistrates in Nottingham on Saturday charged with the possession of heroin, and intent to supply the drug.
