Conductors plan for trams
A tram
The first trams were unveiled in early August
Nottingham's new tram system is to be staffed with conductors when it starts next year.

The company building the network, Arrow Light-Rail, has made the decision that passengers will not have to use tickets machines alone.

At least one member of staff will ride in every tram to sell tickets and provide help.

Arrow said the conductors will help reduce vandalism and fare dodging.
