Skydivers leap into the record books
Skydivers
About 240 skydivers took part in the event
More than 240 skydivers were attempting to break a world record for tandem parachute jumps on Saturday.

They assembled at Hinton-in-the-Hedges Skydiving Centre, Northamptonshire, to make their attempt.

The jumps, which involved novice divers attached to experienced parachutists leaping 10,000 feet from a plane, were made to raise money for charity.

It is hoped the event will raise about £90,000 for research into cystic fibrosis.
